Mild Moiré is a small studio working on generative pattern design.

The work began as a way to understand why two almost identical grids produce shapes that neither of them contains. It turned into a long series of experiments with line gratings, concentric rings, radial fans and dot lattices.

Everything on this site is made from simple geometric rules and a handful of colour palettes. There are no photographs, no stock images and no third-party scripts. The pages load a single stylesheet and a few vector files.
